New CinePower Range – 28V B-Mount Batteries and Charger
The New CinePower Range from IDX features new battery models and charger designed to be used in conjunction with high end 28V Cine cameras; such as the ARRI Alexa 35 and Blackmagic URSA Cine.
With new batteries designed from the ground up, two new models are introduced;
HV-160B & HV-320B. Both batteries include 1 x D-Tap & 1 x USB-A Output as well as a
USB-C PD In/Out socket that can be used to power a myriad of accessories (up to 60W) and also allows fast charging (up to 100W) with an IDX USB-C PD Charger.
Alongside these connections, both models also feature an OLED screen on the side of the battery which can display a multitude of battery information without the need for additional equipment. Users will be able to see information such as total power draw, battery cell health, amount of cycles and remaining runtime in minutes & percentage.
The HV-160B is a 154Wh* capacity battery with a maximum power output of 200W (9.1A at 22V), and as it falls between 100Wh & 160Wh, users are permitted to take a maximum of 2pcs when travelling by air. As per the current IATA guidelines.
The HV-320B is a 308Wh* capacity battery with a maximum power output of 350W (16.0A at 22V). This gives users the ability to run their high power draw equipment for an extended period of time.

The BL-4SX is a dedicated charger for HV-160B and HV-320B. It can charge a 28V battery at high speed and four channels simultaneously at up to 3A and 100W.
A large LCD monitor showing charging status for each channel and large LEDs on the top panel, allow the charging status to be seen briefly from a distance.
