Recently announced at IBC 2024, IDX debuted the new CUE-J batteries. With three new models on display; CUE-J98, CUE-J150 & CUE-J198 all boasting higher Wh Capacity and Power Output when compared to the previous CUE-H models.
This range redefines the price point for high quality Li-ion batteries. Designed to the most stringent Japanese safety regulations they feature a cell cradle design that isolates the Li-Ion cells from each other and feature a D-tap output rated at up to 80W for powering camera accessories.
The CUE-J98 features a 95Wh* capacity and is now capable of 10A/120W loads, making it a great option for those in need of a slim, low-profile, cost-effective battery capable of powering modern day power hungry equipment. Whilst remaining under the 100Wh limit for IATA carry-on baggage restrictions.
The CUE-J150 answers the power demands of digital cinematography and broadcast cameras where high current loads are needed. Boasting an improved 143Wh* capacity and 12A/156W load capability it allows users to increase their runtime effortlessly.
The CUE-J198 holds its own when required to power high load equipment reliably and safely. With the CUE-J198 able to handle 14A/156W loads, and with a 190Wh* capacity, it becomes the perfect battery solution for demanding equipment such as LED Light Panels.
Each battery features a 2 Year Manufacturer’s warranty and are all compatible with the existing IDX V-Lock chargers.
