For any repair or service enquiries please contact us first so IDX can confirm the warranty status of your equipment.
If we deem the goods are within warranty then IDX will issue a Return Merchandise Number (RMA Number) and we will ask to ship to us for assessment and investigation. If goods are shipped to us without this number, they may be refused. All shipments to our facility should be on a freight prepaid basis and fully insured by the buyer. If it is determined that warranty repair applies then the product will be shipped to the buyer at IDX’s expense.
If our records indicate that the goods are outside of the original warranty period we may advise that the equipment is shipped to one of our service agents listed below, who are authorised to handle out of warranty repairs for IDX Chargers and Power Supplies.

Please be aware that there are some IDX products that can no longer be repaired due to availability of parts. These include; Metal VL-4S (all parts), VL-4S (PSU & Charge Board), VAL-4Si (PSU & Charge Board) and VL-4Si (PSU & Charge Board).
In addition, ALL IDX batteries cannot be repaired internally or re-celled. Based on the construction of IDX batteries it is not economical to repair and therefore do not offer this service. We can attempt recovery of certain models but we cannot replace any internal components.
Please complete the below form so we can issue an RMA Number for any IDX goods you wish us to inspect. When filling out the below please include all relevant product information such as product name and serial number.
Once completed an RMA will be issued as soon as possible.
